* 11:25 p.m. - Police determined people throwing food on cars at a College Street parking lot were determined to be members of a college lacrosse team goofing off. (So that's an alibi?)
* 2:23 p.m. - A West Street woman told police a man entered her home, took her phone and then replaced it with another phone. Police said there is no evidence such an incident occurred. (But is there any evidence that it didn't occur?)
* 8:56 a.m. - A North East Street resident reported an opossum got inside the chicken coop. (What are the laws on the books for this sort of thing? Should there be WANTED posters for animals?)
* 11:40 p.m. - Police kept the peace after a mother and daughter got into an argument over homework at Echo Village Apartments. (The police agreed to do the homework in exchange for coffee.)
* 1:27 a.m. - A woman seen streaking on Rolling Green Drive was not found by police. (Despite their arrival at the scene within two minutes of the call.)
* 2:48 a.m. - Two men running with ladders on North Pleasant Street near Phillips Street were gone when police got there.(An hour later two homes were robbed with the burglars inexplicably gaining access through second story windows.)
* 9:05 p.m. - Police determined that a Taylor Street woman's complaints about neighbors snowblowing snow onto her house and windows were not legitimate. Strong gusts of wind were determined to be responsible for the snow hitting her house.(Allegations that neighbors were shining bright lights into her house were determined to be caused by the sun.)

Awesome. And I mean that in a "non-CVS-clerk-sarcastic-commentary" sort of way. But what I really wanted was a Foster Brooks doll. As for your rants and musings, I'm hooked. I've "favorited" your spot in my web browser. (Your "blog" spot, just to clarify). Again, why do you have to be two states away? (OK, maybe 3 but at this point, who's counting?) :D
Hey, come on, Mad Men is the best excuse ever to not do early morning documentary photography...

+ I adore the barf bag art.
This blog is so...whimsical and fun.
Definitely not self-absorbed. Ha.
Okay, chuck *just* whimsical and fun. I'm totally loving up the Womanizer Dust Bunny post in so many, many ways. Gorey! Joni! habit re-booting! Rereading the beginning of difficult books (Proust, anyone? You know how many times I've gone over the first chapter of Swann's Way? There's something Alison Bechdel quoted in Fun House which I had to laugh at myself for: "Maturity is knowing you will never read all of Proust.") Accepting one's own casual squalor--I'm totally FOR this, but then, you saw my Lodging room, so you know just how full of squalor I can be...
I can't believe Byrne played Heaven at the concert & I didn't go! That is one of my favorite songs ever. Both a song about someone's manic nature & also, in terms of the sound & the chorus, anyway, about dope--I mean, heaving is a place where nothing ever happens, right?
I know I should get into post-TH Byrne but when I try to buy from his prolific oevre w/o guidance I end up w/duds. What do you think his best solo work is?
Hey, nevermind, I don't know what my memories were thinking--I just reread the lyrics--it's not about "mania", it's just about dope. Ha.
Also, I really really want to go to the Old Book store but I never pass by when it's open! One of the frustrations of being so nocturnal, except when ugly activist demands cast my silly vampiric self out into the evol daylight..ha.
Okay, this is the last in this seemingly infinite series of very immature sounding enthuiastic comments...
